Crew Pre Academy: This elite player development program is designed to prepare players to compete on the U16 & U18 Crew Soccer Academy teams by replicating what works in terms of training, competition and travel. The Pre-Academy player pool will compete in National Premier League (NPL) and several unique MLS youth events throughout the year. The Crew Youth is the ONLY program in central Ohio that can provide this level of programming while crafting the environment that will replicate the highest academy standards required by US Soccer.
Who: Male players born in ’96, ’97, ’98 and ’99 will make up the Pre-Academy player pool for competition in the U13, U14 & U15 age groups. Approximately 45-55 players will make up this pool. Players born in ’93, ’94, ’95 & ’96 will form the U16 and U17/18 age groups.
Practice & Games: Players will train a minimum of 3 times each week and compete in the NPL for league games. There will be approximately 6 MLS Youth Events throughout the year. These include friendly matches with MLS Clubs across the region as well as a MLS Youth Championship in the summer for some players.
